Hello?

Alrighty! So I decided to look at my older blogger profile and I was looking over my old blogs. Eventually I came across EmberClan and I recalled creating this Clan.
However, eventually everything and everyone died off. No one was active and even I wasn't active. Which isn't all that surprising. I'm terrible when it comes to activity.

Anyways, I was looking at the "join" page and I noticed comments from 2014 and even 2015! If anyone is still around I am willing to bring EmberClan back!

Starting New

After almost a full day up in the trees, Tanglestar watched the river water decreased slowly. He leaped from the tree branch he was resting on. The ground was soaking wet and puddles laid everywhere, where the clearing used to be.
"Everyone can come down now," He meowed and searched the dens. The water had wrecked the dens, the nursery brambles had washed away, along with the protective barrier. Tanglestar shook his head.
"This will take a lot of cleaning up," He meowed.
"Why don't we just leave?" Adderstrike yowled as he shook his wet paws.
"We can't leave, this is our home!" Sleetpaw protested. Sweetpaw agreed. "Besides, Mistypaw and Shadowpaw are missing!"
"Enough!" Tanglestar growled. "We are not leaving."

"Tanglestar! You're going to want to look at this!" Tanglestar heard Owlsight's meow. He made his way to where his deputy was standing, he seemed to be standing over dark tabby fur.
"Oh no," Tanglestar meowed when he figured out who the limp body was.
Brokenfeather.
"What will we do without a medicine cat?!" Copperflame meowed as she peered over Tanglestar to see the medicine cat.
"We have one," Blackfeather meowed and looked at Moonpaw.
Moonpaw gulped as eyes focused on her. Was she really ready to take on the role of her mentor?

Tanglestar looked at his clanmates. "We won't sit vigil for our lost clanmates because it's wet and we need to repair our clan. We also need to find Snowfall's body-"
"And Mistypaw!" Sleetpaw added, his eyes were sad. His mother was dead and his sister was missing. What more could go wrong?

Unexpected Surprises

Tanglestar had leaped at Azure and had entered himself into a ferocious tussle. He slashed, clawed, and even bit the rouge she-cat, trying to do everything he could to drive her as well as her followers.
Just than dark clouds that had been threatening the sky for several days covered the EmberClan clearing but none of the cats noticed, they were too busy defending their sides. Rouge and Clan cat.
Mistypaw was in the forest, she had been chased and was out of breath. She scented the air and her hackles raised when she smelled the strong scent of a cat very familiar. A cat that she didn't want to encounter now.
She looked to the sky to feel the first raindrop hit her cheek and slide off, almost like a teardrop. Soon the raindrop was followed by others.
The rain didn't follow lightly, it was drenching the whole forest, leaving nothing dry. Soon the clearing was filled with not only blood and cat fur but mud and rain water.
EmberClan cats continued fighting with the rouges. Trying their hardest to defend their territory.

Suddenly, a large crack could be heard. Tanglestar broke away from Azure and looked around wildly and not much after the crack rushing water could be heard. He instantly understood what he meant.
"EmberClan retreat! Head to the trees!" He yowled and quickly scaled a tree next to his den. The last of his clan mates climbed a tree as well as Jingo and Red, leaving the rouges yowling insults in the middle of the clearing. Soon enough water rushed into EmberClan's clearing, washing away everything, including the rouges.
"StarClan why have you destroyed my clan?" Tanglestar meowed quietly and watched the water rush by.

[Shadowpaw and Mistypaw are still in the forest, as far as everyone knows there life/death is unknown]

Snake was tired of waiting for his leader's son. He made his way through the brambles and thistles of the EmberClan territory and soon he was close enough to hear whispering. He froze. It was Shadow and some she-cats voice.
"What's going on?" Snake demanded, his fur fluffed up in hostility but the she-cat was already running back towards her camp.
Snake whirled on Shadowpaw. "How's that, Traitor?" He spat.
Shadowpaw leaped back, slightly startled. "She's no one. Just one of my fake clanmates," Shadowpaw meowed.
Snake shook his head. "C'mon, Azure is waiting for us."
"Wait! I have to get Hidden!" Shadow protested and ran through the bushes. He pushed through the bramble barrier and nearly crashed into Mistypaw who was talking quietly to her brother, Sleetpaw.
She casted one hurt-filled glance in Shadowpaw's direction before continuing her talking.
Shadowpaw simply ignored her, his mind going in a hundred directions but his heart going in only one. He didn't acknowledge it, instead he leaped over to Hiddenpaw, she was talking with Blazepaw.
"Hiddenpaw, we have to go. Now." Shadowpaw meowed and gave an uneasy glance towards Blazepaw.
"What do you mean-" Hiddenpaw meowed and was stopped when a sudden thought came to mind. "No...!" She meowed and walked away from Blazepaw, signaling to Shadowpaw to follow her.
"I won't do it," She said.
"What do you mean?" Shadowpaw hissed. "You're juts going to let us all down?"
Hiddenpaw sighed, "I know I came here to be a spy, but I've grown to like it here," She said giving a quick look at Blazepaw. "I can't just let the rouges destory my home."
"This is not your home!" Shadowpaw meowed in disbelief.
"It is, I've changed," Hiddenpaw meowed. "I'm not Hidden anymore. I'm Hiddenpaw, out of everyone, I thought that you'd be the one to understand..." She finished looking passed Shadowpaw.
He turned to see her staring at Mistypaw. "It's her loss, as well as yours," He meowed sharply and raced out of the EmberClan camp, nearly crashing into Snake who was looking for him. "Let's go," the brown tabby meowed gruffly and Shadowpaw nodded.

"As soon as Snake gets back we will attack!" Azure meowed and the many rouges surrounding her cheered.
"Tonight is the night that EmberClan dies!" A well muscled stone-gray tom with green eyes called.
"Stone is right!" Replied Crimson.
The air was suddenly filled with the chorusing sound of the rouges.
"Let's feast!" Snake yowled as he entered the dirty area where the rouges stayed. Heads whipped in the dark tabby's direction and Azure's eyes narrowed to slits.
"Where's Shadow and Hidden?" She demanded and leaped down from her post.
Shadowpaw stepped from behind Snake. "Hidden decided to stay with EmberClan..."
"She's a traitor!"
"She must be killed!"
"Kill her!"
Cat's yowled in anger.
"Settle down!" Azure snapped. "Hidden will be killed for betraying us. But for now we must eat. As soon as we are done, EmberClan will pay."
Pay for what?! Red shot an uneasy glance at Jingo. He knew she shared his discomfort.

"Attack!" A loud yowl awoke Tanglestar out of his den. His eyes were wide with terror.

"EmberClan is under attack!" A different yowl echoed throughout the clearing. It was Blackice's.

Tanglestar poked his head out of his den to see the silver and black tom being tackled by a rouge.

Warriors and apprentices raced out of the den sleepily, what they didn't expect to see was a huge wave of rouges flowing down from the ravine and crashing through the bramble barrier.

"EmberClan attack!" Tanglestar yowled and flung himself at a nearby rouge.

[Battle time! Remember, don't kill the cats listed on the 'Rouge Cat' list unless you have permission from myself, or the person who is playing that cat. You are allowed to make up your own rouge and drive/kill them off, because there are many, many, many rouges attacking the Clan. Hiddenpaw isn't bad, she prefers the life of a clan cat, Shadowpaw is just confused, and Mistypaw is hurt. Also, there will be a surprise for Red and Jingo, so don't kill them off!]

Gathering

(I totally forgot about the gathering but it's better late than never!!)

Tanglestar leaped onto the emberstone his yellow-amber eyes gazing around his clan. "Cats of EmberClan tonight is the gathering (it was a couple days ago but still...) I'd like these cats to go:

Tanglestar looked at the called cats. The ones he didn't call looked a little discouraged. "The cats who aren't going you still have the important task of watching over the clan."

Hidden Secrets

Jingo was talking quietly with Red. He was growing more and more 'useless' as Snake would put it. "Jingo, I don't want to be here, anymore. I hate it here," Red was saying.
Jingo's eyes were sad. "I know, Red, but where would we go? We were born into this, we had no choice."
Red's eyes flared with hope. "What about the Clans? They don't seem that bad!"

"Are we close?"

"Almost."

"Now?"

"We've walked five paw steps."

"I'm tired. Are we almost there?"

"Soon."

"How about.... now?"

"No."

"Now?"

"Soon."

"No-"

"Just, stay quiet." Snaketail's patience was growing thin. Gingerpaw had been pestering him for what seemed like moons now, but he couldn't blame the young she-cat, she was excited. They were traveling to EmberClan in search of Tanglestar.

While on their way to find a new home, a loner had told the two about the clans and the cat named Tanglestar.

"Are we close now?"

Snaketail let out a long, low sigh. "Count to ten really slowly. By the time your finished, we'll be there."

"Really?" The orange tabby let out an excited squeal and began counting. "Onnneeee......... twwwoooooo.....thhrrreeee-"

"Teeennnn!" Gingerpaw meowed when she finished counting. "Are we here?"

"Yes," Snaketail meowed and entered EmberClan's clearing. Gingerpaw looked startled. She hadn't expected this many cats.

"What are you doing here?" Blazepaw demanded.

Snaketail ignored the young warrior and went to find Tanglestar. He was talking to Snowfall, the gray tabby and white queen looked worried, but as soon as she saw Snaketail she dipped her head and disappeared back into the nursery.

Tanglestar turned around.

"Hello," he meowed, his yellow-amber eyes curious and calm.

"Hello, Tanglestar, right?" Snaketail asked, Gingerpaw hung to his side.

"Yes, how can I help you?"

"We'd like to live here, we heard great things about you and EmberClan."

"Very well, as soon as we get acquainted, I shall call a meeting," Tanglestar meowed.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath the emberstone for a Clan meeting!" Mistykit could hear Tanglestar's meow echo throughout the clearing.

Her mother had groomed Sleetkit and her pelt until they were nice and sleek. She wasn't even excited, she just wanted to be an apprentice already.

"Today, I'd like to make many important announcements. First off I'd like to welcome, Snaketail as a warrior of EmberClan. By naming apprentices it shows that EmberClan is still growing and remains strong. "Gingerpaw, we welcome you too EmberClan. Ivyflight will be your mentor.

Also, I'd like to make some kits that are due for their warrior ceremony. Mistykit, Sleetkit, Frostkit, Viperkit, and Shadowkit, you are of age to become apprentices.

"Mistykit you will be known as Mistypaw, Brookrush will be your mentor.

"Sleetkit you will be known as Sleetpaw, your mentor will be Snaketail.

"Frostkit you will be known as Frostpaw, Larkflight will be your mentor.

"Viperkit you will be known as Viperpaw, I will mentor you.

"Lastly, Shadowkit you will be known as Shadowpaw, Blackice will mentor you." Tanglestar smiled.

Blackice looked startled. "But I already have an apprentice, Crescentpaw." He looked over at the black tom who was sitting beside his sister.

"Not anymore," Tanglestar's eyes were humorous.

"Crescentpaw, Swiftpaw, Smallpaw, Mallowpaw, and Blackpaw, please step up here." All five young cats looked at each other, their eyes flared with excitement as they obeyed.

Gee, how exciting. I'd rather be out in the forest than in this stupid Clan, where no one listens or respects me. Mistypaw thought bitterly.

"Crescentpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Crescentmoon.

"Swiftpaw,  you will be known as Swiftwind

"Smallpaw, you will be known as Smallcloud

"Mallowpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Mallowfeather

"Lastly, Blackpaw, you will be known as Blackheart. StarClan welcomes you all as full warriors and apprentices."

Gingerpaw! Mistypaw! Sleetpaw! Viperpaw! Frostpaw! Shadowkit! Crescentmoon! Swiftwind! Smallcloud! Mallowfeather! Blackheart!

(This is the first time EmberClan kits have been made apprentices and EmberClan apprentices have been made warriors! Yay!)

Lurking Dangers

Azure was pacing back and forth, her fur on end. "Snake! Have you heard from Shadow?" The she-cat snapped. Her azure-blue eyes flaring angrily.
"I-I don't know. I think he's still with that," he spat out the next word. "Clan."
"Of course he is! That's where I sent him!" Azure retorted, her eyes turning into slits. She lashed her tail. Mouse-brains! I'm leading mouse-brained cats!
Snake, taking her tail lash as a signal to leave, turned around and padded to the other cats. Jingo was sitting with her brother Red. The dark ginger tom was hanging his head. He clearly didn't want to be here.
"Honestly, I don't understand why Azure keeps you here. You're useless!" Snake growled.
Jingo's hackles raised and she stood up to Snake. Pressing her nose to his. "You got a problem with my brother, Snake?" She snapped. "If he leaves I leave."

"No one's leaving," Crimson hissed as he scrambled over the fence and leaped down beside Red. "Snake go bully someone else."
Snake's hackles raised but Azure appeared from her temporary den. A small twoleg-planted bush.
"We aren't going to beat the clan cats if we can't even get along!" Azure snapped.

Shadowkit was sitting with Mistykit. Spottedkit had apologized and now they weren't rivals. For the time being. Stupid clan cats. Shadowkit thought darkly. Azure will surely defeat this clan.

Suddenly a beautiful golden kit, dappled with black and has large, gorgeous blue eyes padded confidently into EmberClan's camp.

She froze when she saw all the cats, then slowly turned to leave. She then recognized Shadowkit."Shadow, is that you?"

Shadowkit froze when he heard the she-cat's familiar voice. "Hidden?"

Hiddenpaw cocked her head slightly to one side. "What're you doing here?" She asked quietly.

Shadowkit aimed one glance at Mistykit who was watching the she-cat cautiously.

"Azure sent me here to," Shadowkit looked around, making sure no one was listening. "You know what? We will talk later. Why are you here?"

"You said we'd talk later," Hiddenpaw meowed.

Shadowkit sighed and made his way back to Mistykit as Blazepaw looked around the clearing and his hackles raised when he spotted Hiddenpaw. "What are you doing in EmberClan's camp?" He hissed when he stalked up to her.
"Blazepaw, what did Tanglestar tell you?" Sweetpaw growled as she stood beside her brother.

Spottedkit also spotted the new she-cat in the camp. "Blazepaw why did you..." Her hackles raised. "Who are you?" She growled although her eyes shown the fear she was feeling.

Sweetpaw shot a glare at Spottedkit. "Leave the interviewing to Tanglestar. Both of you, go." She meowed and flicked her brother with her tail.

Spottedkit apologized and turned back to Frostkit and Viperkit.

Tanglestar heard the growls and poked his head out of his den. "New cat. Well," He emerged from his den and padded calmly over to Hiddenpaw. "Hello," He dipped his head.

"The leader of EmberClan?" Hiddenpaw guessed.

Tanglestar nodded. "Yes. Are you alone?"

Hiddenpaw fought the urge to glance over to Shadowkit. "Yes."

"Your an apprentice, aren't you?" He raised an eyes, curiously.

"Yes, I want to join EmberClan. I'm tired of being.. a loner."

"Very well," Tanglestar meowed and bounded onto the emberstone. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join for a clan meeting!"

He waited patiently as the cats gathered around the emberstone. The sun shinning off of it making it glow beautifully.

"By naming apprentices we show that EmberClan is growing and strong. "Hidden, until you receive your warrior name you shall be known as-"

He was interrupted when three cats entered the clearing. The pretty gray she-cat carrying a gray she-kit. A tortoiseshell she-cat with brilliant amber eyes watched the clan cats. She didn't look a bit frightened.

"Well, what do we have here?" Adderstrike meowed as he turned his attention from Tanglestar to the three she-cats.

"We have traveled far to join EmberClan," The pretty gray tabby meowed as she placed down the she-kit. "I was once a loner, until I found Luna and Kestrel. I am Ivy."

"Ivy, you want to join EmberClan?" Tanglestar meowed.

Ivy nodded. "Yes."

"Alright, you three. Come up here." Tanglestar meowed and the cats parted to let the she-cats by. Wary glances were shared between the queens. Would they dry to harm their kits?

"Let's continue with the ceremony!" Tanglestar yowled and the clan cats meowed with agreement.

"Until you receive your warrior name you will be known as Hiddenpaw. We welcome you as an apprentice for EmberClan. Stormfeather, you are ready for your first apprentice."

Continuing, Tanglestar turned his piercing yellow-amber gaze to Ivy, Luna, and Kestrel.

"Luna, you are not yet six moons old, yes?"

Lunakit nodded.

"Until you are six moons old you will be known as Lunakit. I'd like Blackflower to watch over you until you become an apprentice. Kestrel, you are still of training age, you shall be known as Kestrelpaw until you receive your warrior name.Your mentor will be Fernglade. Lastly, Ivy. You are skilled enough to be a warrior. From now on you will be known as Ivyflight.

"We welcome you all to EmberClan. That is all, clan dismissed."
